Kota Kinabalu Day 1

很自然的，我又选择了来写我的部落格，而不是写我的论文！

选了几张照片，让我来告诉你一些故事吧。

在飞往亚庇的途中，窗外的‘雪花’吸引了我的目光。


晚餐的时候去了海港城。

又大又肥美的龙虾，看得我直流口水。
可是没我的份 :(


超级大的‘siham’，不知道一口咬下去的滋味是如何的呢？
会不会很‘geli’？ ‘siham’内的血浆会从口里面喷出来吗？


这一团东西是石头鱼。
口感若是硬如石头的话，应该没有人会要吃吧？
那我就当它是‘我很丑，可是我很美味’咯！


我们的奶油虾。好好吃。


上汤啦啦。好味道。


沙巴的薯仔菜。没有菜叶的喔。


瓦煲豆腐。豆腐竟然酸酸的。


姜葱螃蟹。超咸。
你要相信我。我是个口味重的人，如果我说咸的话，那一定是很咸的了。
但我也吃得津津有味的。都说了，我喜欢吃咸咸的东西嘛。

吃饱了后，我们在市中心走走。

这个火炬让我想起了‘Survivor生存者’里面的火炬。
那个如果你被淘汰了，就会被主持人熄灭的火炬咯！
我已经好久没有看这个节目了。

Grumbles

Not productive in writing my blog lately.
Didn't process the pictures yet to be posted and thus no new entry :(

Anyway, when I am not productive in writing my blog, I wish I am productive in writing my thesis.
I am trying. I want to push myself harder!!!

Just some grumbles, I am having headache now.
Someone told me a news last night and it keeps me feeling unsecure now.
I better don't think so much.
I hope for a peaceful Malaysia.
No more political games please, it's really disturbing and will not do good in any way.

Down Down Down

My pc is down, can't start up.
I am down these days, as in my thesis writing is not progressing much and my experiment is stucked.
Down pc, down me and down experiments.

But I will hope for a better week ahead.
Going off to Kota Kinabalu tomorrow.
When I am back on Sunday, I will be feeling refresh and in high spirit!!!
Starting from Monday, a brand new week.
Resume experiments, continue thesis writing.

Cross my fingers.
Set the goals and take actions, accomplish them one by one!!!

A Year Ago

Last year, this day, for the first time ever, I am heading to Europe!!!
For 2 and a half months!!!
I have never been to continent so far away before.
I am very excited.
In fact, till now, when I am recalling the days, I am still feeling so excited.
Oh I miss the days when i was there.

My first stop was Stockholm, Sweden.
Never in my mind that I will have chance to leave my footstep in this Scandinavia country, which seems so far away from Malaysia.
Thanks to my brother, I managed to see this beautiful, advanced and expensive country :)

Times flies and it have been a year.
These days I have been thinking alot about the days I spent in Stockholm, London and also the European Jewels trip with my mum.
Can't believe that it have been a year!!! So so fast!!!
I am not sure when will be the next time I will be going to Europe again.
Nonethelss, I will never forget the lifetime experiences that I gained when I was there last year :)

To be specific, it's my second day at London.
Today, I am going out to see the world with my mum :)
London city, I am coming!!!

First of all, my breakfast of the day.
Hot milk + chocolate powder = hot milk chocolate

You see my mum really really prefer Chinese food.

She always want something wet and hot.
I mean she likes soup.

European Jewels - Day 3 - Part 1

Rhineland -> Romantic Road -> Munich

We were in the land of Germany the whole day :)

This were the hotel that we stayed for a night.
Note my "sleepy-half-awake" look.
Excuse me, it was 7am when I took this picture.
Imagine how early we have to wake up to prepare ourselves, pack our luggage coz we are not going to come back here and take our breakfast.


Ok we did choose to wake up a little bit early so that we could have some time to admire the scenery around the hotel. When we arrived last night, it was all dark outside the hotel.
According to the tour guide, this little hotel is in this little town just beside the Rhine river.
This morning, finally we can walk around.
The weather was chilly.

Look of the day.


We paid extra 20 Euro to join the 'Lorelei and Its Castles' cruise along the Rhine River.
It was 8.17am, the sun is not out yet.
The sky was gloomy and look how misty the river was.
I was shivering (yet I still love to pose and snap picture :p)


Continuely gloomy and misty.
Where are all the castles?
The heavy fog blocked the castles.


Finally the sun came out.
It was 9.20am now.
First glimpse of the first ever castle that we managed to see.

Elek...That's it, no more castle liao...

Now is the turn for vineyards.


So nice hor to have a house here.

You see, according to this postcard, there should be this amount of castles along the Rhine river.
We saw two only.

A very nice rest area along the motorway. We are going to have our lunch here.
Nice restaurant and high-tech washroom too (you shall know why later...)

Mum and I always share one portion of food + a soup or side dish. Two portion will be too much for us. We save quite some money for food you know ;)

Neh this toilet bowl in this high-tech washroom hor, the seat is turned automatically for one round and it is washed before you use it.

P/S: I actually purposely paid to come into this wash room to have a look of this high-tech toilet bowl, but then hor I was damn 'unlucky', I went into one that was not functioning. I kept wondering 'very high-tech meh? Nothing special mar, the seat is not moving also'. Then I asked my mum about it and she said:" Aiyo yours not moving ah, come come come into mine, I show you." So, two of us went into the same washroom and my mum demostrated to me :p
